Tribal Police Dispatch is a twenty-four/seven operation with the responsibility of supporting field officers and Tribal Fire/EMS Units.  Tribal Police Dispatch is a fully operational dispatch center.  During one audit conducted by the Kansas Highway Patrol, we were rated as one of the best (in security, procedures, training and operations) in the state. 

Dispatchers general duties include: monitoring all radio traffic, responding to requests from field officers/Fire/EMS units, operation of computer equipment to log traffic and obtain information, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and assisting with general office duties.

Tribal Police Dispatcher qualifications include: being at least 18 years of age, ability to speak clearly, good computer skills, good judgment, multi-task oriented, ability to pass a background investigation and willingness to work various schedules to accommodate the 24/7 nature of Law Enforcement.
